Google Search Console is the best place (in our opinion) to get a realistic reflection of how your charity is seen and searched for by supporters, beneficiaries, and Google.

Wouldn’t it be useful to know what people are searching for in Google and the pages on your site that people click on most?

Do you need help creating content that meets your users’ specific needs?

Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) is an invaluable suite of services that enables you to monitor how your website is performing in search engine results pages (SERPs as they are often referred to).

It lets you know which pages on your website are being indexed (shown) in results, whether Googlebot (a type of web crawler which finds content through links) is having problems crawling your site’s content, and how pages rank in organic search results. Understanding and optimising online visibility is crucial for turning clicks into support for your charity.

What can it show me?

Understand user needs and what they search for, performance of pages (such as how many people click on your link in results), website health (including alerts for broken pages for example), and some more technical features including rich snippets (such as reviews).
